Careers

Cavalier Area Chamber of Commerce

The Cavalier Chamber was established in 1990 with the mission to promote an economic climate that encourages the retention, expansion, and creation of business while striving to enhance the quality of life in the Cavalier Area.

The Chamber is usually the first point of contact for those wanting to know more information about the City of Cavalier. It is also responsible for tourism development and organizes multiple local events. It is the vision of the Chamber to pursue the following interests; keeping what’s best for the community in mind always. We strive to stay active in business, tourism, education, housing, and community, while setting new goals to achieve each year as well.

The board of directors typically meets at noon on the third Thursday of the month.
Every effort will be made to elect twelve (12) directors that represent the following areas in the community:
Agriculture, Education, Medical/Health Care, Cavalier Improvements Inc., Cavalier Retail Association, Cavalier City Government, Nonprofit Organization, Cavalier Air Force Station, District 4 of Pembina County Commission, and three (3) Directors-At-Large.

Administrative directors are to serve a one (1) year term, with no term limit.

Cavalier Retail & Services Committee

Cavalier is a bustling town with numerous locally owned businesses! They are proud to offer shopping and services ranging from hardware to florals, car services, finances, handmade items, and much more!

The Cavalier Retail and Services Committee was formed to attract local citizens and visitors to shop in Cavalier through various promotions and events. The goal is to create a positive and fun experience so customers can’t wait to come back and shop Cavalier! 60+ businesses are united under the Cavalier Retail & Services Committee.

To encourage spending within our community, Cavalier Bucks were created. These offer more flexibility than traditional gift cards, as they can be used at any participating store in town.

Acquiring Cavalier Bucks is super easy! Simply purchase the amount you would like at the City Administration Office.  They are available in denominations of $5 and $10 and can be used just like cash.
